Context: E4C-Early Head Start is looking for an enthusiastic and professional individual to coordinate the literacy program at its four sites. The incumbent will be responsible for delivery of various literacy components, provide support to staff, develop community relationships & engage families in literacy activities.

9 Q* ]9 J' y' jAs the successful incumbent, you will have: Diploma or degree in the human service/education field; Preference will be given to the candidate that has facilitated family literacy programming; Knowledge of child development, family dynamics/experience working with families & children is an asset; The proven ability to foster a team environment; Well developed leadership skills.1 P( D9 T: a, U; b9 f; _
6 n6 U4 @+ w/ M+ K' M5 ZIn addition: Experience working in an early childhood or pre-school environment; Experience working with socially, economically and/or culturally diverse populations; Strong group facilitation experience/skills; demonstrated ability to organize work & to work independently; Strong written & verbal communication skills; Foundational Literacy Training; Must have a reliable vehicle.+ l, ~' ^/ R& R: Y$ V.
