: r" I) P' j! E2 t, ]5 ~After I settled down in Edmonton, I celebrated Canada Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Halloween and Remembrance Day. All of them arevery interesting to me, but I have to say that the most enjoyable holiday is Halloween.
3 ]1 g0 y; Y1 x. f- ~; MMy teacher told me I should prepare candies, and many children would come to my home and ask for them. So, I bought many candies from Zellers and Safeway. When I got back home with the candies, my wife told me that there were not enough, so I went to Safeway again and bought more.

In the afternoon, we had a potluck in the class. Yuong Sook, a Korean girl, made some sushi which looked very beautiful. Chun Yuan, a Chinese girl, cooked some bouilli which tasted very delicious. Of course my wife cooked the best food because they were all cleared off all gone.

My child went out with a bag. I stayed at homewith my wife, waiting for neighbours' kids. To my surprise, only three children came to my home, and I was left with many unclaimedcandies. And, one hour later, my child came back with a full bag. “Dad,” She said, “My bag is full. I have many candies now. What an interesting day!”2 O4 T, A$ q! O M! o8 w4 g( q
“You are right, my child.” I said, “Halloween is the most interesting holiday in Canada, I think.”
