Shifts:            8:00am to11:00am - Wednesday and Friday

JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

# m/ [! v; p  O. o DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

  a& B6 s% p- C  _  U3 \2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

  M5 _* a* L+ s7 ^4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

4 Z7 B; r! c5 G/ o: R5) Serve as cashier when required.

2 X' b. a, v9 U$ l5 D5 a6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

, g+ W$ r( ]& s" e% h; ?- f0 X3 s
1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

9 M* }1 s4 L! @, k, Q# `4 ?2) Cashier experience.
- x8 t" P& }5 g8 s( G7 J8 S
3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

& B. I( y9 M6 K2 `# ]$ a5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
