PURPOSE:

that do not have multiple designers and a design supervisor.

measure layout.
, j0 {! X# x6 L! _- Y2. Performs programming, space planning, furniture selection, layout, casework,
2 e L& c0 }6 T# Z! Rproduct pricing, design and selection of fabrics and finishes, includes as-built# r4 v: y3 P5 K; M; M0 s# |+ `6 O
drawings, block plans, space plans and finished working drawings for/ T+ R, q5 \ D) g P8 a& P1 P

3. Provides professional customer interface by attending client planning
7 J/ B# X# @/ L+ v4 bmeetings to determine furniture needs and develops solutions to meet these& E0 g* k) F. D

4. Offers technical design and creative consultation to customers by answering
5 [0 c" J% f$ Sroutine and highly specialized questions regarding furniture systems.
% R# f" Q+ P8 e) F7 G5. Coordinates, develops, and reviews proposed project designs and construction' V: V% R- A5 l' i
plans. Prepares presentation material including color finish boards. Reviews job; R. }( {* \& U" O7 j
site in order to perform accurate measurements. Will do plan-to-site adherence

6. Validates plans against construction, electrical engineering and Architect

7. Develops project specifications, double checks specifications against plans,
+ {4 a7 @/ r6 ?' Vassures specifications are ready for order entry (SIF file), and manages changes
, Q0 E7 m$ X) ^7 Wand revisions.
5 \* U) w. ~0 ~8 L0 K8. Verifies the company design standards have been met. Provides on-site job
0 U# V' ^# \+ f9 Vinspections comparing construction drawings to final build-out.9 p; x9 i$ y9 _' r8 r+ {# A
9. Tracks, records and ties design hours to specific projects for job costing." \1 J. V2 H9 y# a( k
10. Works with installers to ensure installation meets customer specifications.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:" Q7 r* {' @$ h
2 F$ |6 e. o a0 J* a$ ^Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with a minimum of two (2) years in a
& ]: L3 r/ s7 F9 _/ L- i& Hrelated field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and
! s! O% A1 X7 w% R" d- Lexperience required. Prior experience in office furniture industry, general! w4 X( N4 L: u8 j/ u' ]/ |
knowledge of systems furniture, and experience in customer interaction required.
