请问起薪要多少才行？

本人移民，国内是研发经理的背景。四年前登录，加拿大有专业工作经验（短期6个月内）， 同时拥有加拿大本地本科和研究生学位。本人的本科同学在安省（工资低一些）多数是5o-55k（没有任何经验）60-65K （有些经验的，和我那样的6个月左右的）。本人多个文凭，而且是加拿大数一数二的名校毕业。不知道要求65-70K起步可否？希望行家给个指点。谢谢

谢谢靓女的回复。其实我的心理价位也是70-80K.毕竟来这4年多全在读书，经济上相当困难，生活压力大，底气不足，难免急于求成。要是慢慢找就会好一些。哎，又害怕起点太低，影响今后发展。郁闷啊。

Agree. In Edmonton, the employer won't offer you a higher salary because you've graduated from U of T instead of U of A. If you are doing pure research, the starting salary will be even lower. As far as I know, the majority of the starting salary for a Chinese (engineering background) with a Master's degree (Canadian degree, not MBA) ranges from $55,000 to $68,000. However, you can get a big salary jump after you get your P.Eng. and change your job. If you choose to stay with the same employer after receiving yoru P.Eng., your raise will be fairly limited.

thank you guys. I study occupational medicine, I got an interview in a consulting company and waiting for the second round interview they said will be set later this week.

They said I will use my own car and visit industrial sites, office buildings, oil companies, transport companies to do  training, accident inspection, risk assessment, sampling of toxic chemicals, noise and radiation prevention, and occupational diseases related consulting. Too much to do and a small company. I do believe they have too many projects and need qualified people. This is also my long term goal: to have my own consulting business. But right now, I need money as well as experiences.  I get lost.

And, UofA does not have this major yet. Just 3-4 uni. in canada have this program. Every year, around 20 grats in total in whole Canada. I do believe they could not get a more qualified guy at all.

UA public health 有相似的master program
