+ I$ {4 Q9 v& P* A1 icalgary shopping centres used to be mostly made of so called "malls". it's a bunch of stores all opening inside a building, so that shoppers can do most of their shopping indoor without having to worry about cold weather or having to walk too far to the next store.

the biggest mall is still by far Chinook centre (SW). the most popular mall is the Market mall (NW). a very decent and newly renovated mall is Southcentre Mall (NW). cheap discount malls are Deerfoot mall (NE), Marlborou Mall (NE) and Sunridge Mall (NE). smaller malls for your convenience are Northland Mall (NW) and Northhill mall (NW).5 y& l- P# `8 Y

lately, calgary is moving away from those mall set ups to allow for bigger shopping areas and lowering the maintenance costs. a couple of good places you can check are Signall Hill(SW) centre and Beakon center (NW)./ e) C: @% _+ w

if you are interesed in shopping for chinese things, aside from china town, places you can go to are 16th Ave, centre street. there, you will find Madisson Mall, New Asia, Lambda, and a bunch other smaller asain stores. two T&Ts in calgary, one in NW and one in NE. 1 u6 q( F$ d1 V1 U E9 \
