Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

0 E V- [& O- Y! E) r" jMajor Responsibilities: " z# r- W" f4 l4 w! d
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
6 z7 t. v4 ?/ P7 z/ Z2 V/ Y% ^+ n0 M. x# ^• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.& d9 h; ?9 _- y" G* Q
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. , Y2 J' X+ L3 v& K+ V: D/ y
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.

• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area. y# I6 k/ H1 A; `4 ]
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
H2 c) g( o) ?' `( ]( ^• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
- e$ I. h, u4 Q9 }3 Q/ H; L% T• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.& ^0 X) i6 Q3 Q F/ W, ^* K$ w
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
9 X& o" F" u/ b8 Y- Z3 R8 R• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
6 u* Y! I" ?9 Y2 t; P* A• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
3 ?' v: ~' O) ~+ Z/ W5 Q( Q• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

% F' Y4 V0 q0 Z% } Q( J• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. , ^: w) @' ?2 d5 Z4 x8 k$ G* n; l: y
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 7 n& c) Y. W0 y# M0 \/ q
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 0 g2 z4 t/ D. Z7 s/ |
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
3 ^3 W9 C9 k7 B3 Z Y. B3 Z1 l• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
