The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.

Duties:
•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
( V, K% Y1 k3 j' [' S3 I7 v% z•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
5 M. [+ A: k% b; q  B6 U•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
! u) [- q6 K: v8 \* F+ t•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

% s4 [; F. y! Z: i: w4 ^' wRequirements:
( g, z( k. r  F+ y•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
+ e3 o6 t+ X7 Y1 M/ Z  U8 n/ T•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.
•        Degree in the area of human services;
8 s: F; Q3 Y) K& ~•        Able to travel extensively ;
•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
" ~$ G: M2 p6 e1 G; \- b: N7 }•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
