Business Analyst (.Net Application Development)

I# h5 GAs a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications. 0 [8 v \7 F. t
As part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:" C0 i9 D( n0 {8 F: ]
Convert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off. 5 u' v1 w( p( p
Create process and data models to visually represent requirements information. : r. t$ t( ^2 S0 O! Z; M
Perform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing.
- W8 D) t% ^0 j; s6 r# z( r5 RAssist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase.
& o2 P4 y% a1 j/ u# k! sSupport, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production.
# f2 C! j% Z h' ^+ L7 PAnalyze current technical and business objectives, plans, processes, information flows, and systems. [2 c4 H" {5 d
Assist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications. 4 I, z8 i2 H# v- I
Summarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement.
2 k' M6 D& N: @' DResponsible for working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverables. 4 D, \( |% m- W2 Q
Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset/ ?! c$ t. c \& f) r
• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
% \7 J U# {' W' u4 `' n6 L% A• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset.
. z4 m! {( e5 [0 m• Understanding of Object Oriented design principles and the .Net Framework.
l6 Z L6 D% L; n! f• Exceptional consultation skills are critical, with the ability to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment.
