Position title: Community Development Worker

- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population 8 j5 e" f" A1 ^- E' I7 B) ]
access to mainstream services1 M9 a t; c/ u% Y+ W2 m
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of ! N0 j& Y) G- s
social services
2 c" e& ~# [* O! w) K# O! I4 m- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies3 w# |4 N$ I1 ^* p6 ?' h) _
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members

/ E6 V3 O+ U: H1 p8 s- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
) V4 G1 L0 y& k6 L- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

Qualifications
& p$ r. B, E2 B6 [, W ^$ E- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
; n! Z1 @/ W9 T; U experience and education . b) |8 n7 @% F" P( w s3 Y. z- R
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills" @4 |7 [: P) M [: t
- experience in community work and immigrant services
: I/ ~5 V. v; r' e- experience in website update/design
. a2 v1 G$ j; \9 l: r; K& c- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
