Abstract: Bissell Centre is a nonprofit community resource centre providing support to people living in poverty within a vision of neighbour helping neighbour.

3 _3 k. ?; S; S# |/ ]: gThe Director of Family Services is an exciting new senior position reporting to the Executive Director and is responsible for the oversight of Child and Family Services, Wellness and Recreation, and Intra Agency Service Supports. : d5 V5 C' ?6 F& E
7 B4 l ]3 m4 ~2 o% |2 J* X/ [The position is responsible for program grants, evaluation, outcomes/program development. This position is a member of Bissell's Leadership team and will ensure community relationship and partnership development within the context of our mandate and values.

8 {. L$ i2 a7 y( V Z) f: {Education/Experience: Degree in related area along with a minimum of 7 years direct experience in managing child/family services. Program development, evaluation and supervisory experience are essential. Knowledge of poverty, homelessness and Edmonton's urban core required.

6 h/ `' _2 v: d/ o7 C) nSkills & Abilities: Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with funders, community organizations, program participants, staff/volunteers. Demonstrate the ability to ensuring quality services, program evaluation and development. Demonstrate competency in computer, (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, database programs) infrastructure systems, and reports.
