F1 a) a/ s8 OThe Sensors Engineering Business Unit (SENG) is involved in the development of customized measurement technologies for process control applications. Our customers are primarily in the oil sands, petroleum, pulp and paper, and mining industries.

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to perform the following responsibilities:

3 Z) `; \& |. C aSupport the safety reps in the Business Unit % P9 y- Y9 e& |# U+ A; Q9 g
Maintain group calendars and internal scheduling using Outlook software
/ r5 S8 \; A# ?6 @Prepare travel arrangements and expense claims ; N: J" \$ q8 T3 P6 j! T
Compile and create presentations, proposals, reports and templates using Word, Excel and PowerPoint software 0 S! k Q- o8 Y7 n
Coordinate trade shows including booking, shipping and manning booth
% }7 N( @/ s; m. s$ E2 I+ f; LOrder office supplies and maintaining office equipment + l5 w' a* Y$ J b
Reimburse and reconcile statements as Petty Cash Custodian
9 ~' C$ r2 I2 LRecords management duties 9 f/ C! K, ]9 |" q3 q' m
Approve timesheets 0 P' _3 l% |& l: n
Maintain and update reference libraries in Endnote software
3 X! V# F# \/ N; V( k. aOther tasks as deemed necessary by the business unit

, z# q( p7 Y7 ~8 LRecords management is an integral part of the job. The incumbent will coordinate records classification, coding, indexing, retention and disposition, and data entry into the Records Management database. , M7 @" s$ Y# \
& M. @4 X- K- u& q9 P! a
Candidates require a certificate or diploma from a recognized post secondary administrative program, experience in an office environment, and strong organizational and communication skills. A combination of experience and education may be considered. Additional course work and experience in records management is an asset.

This is a six (6) month contract with possibility of extension. Wage will commensurate with qualifications and experience. This position is included in the bargaining unit. Final candidates for this position will be asked to undergo a security screening.
