Integrated Employability Skills Training gives immigrants the essential
/ B2 {' u$ P# `, Tskills needed for success in the Alberta workplace. This 5-month funded
$ L$ u6 i3 O4 F+ _) V0 _program combines classroom-based training with work site visits and work3 [0 i0 [. @- }3 m4 C' {4 |% F3 Z5 T
experience placements in high-demand semi-skilled occupations, such as
0 e4 i9 M" R" W* Xwarehousing, customer service, hospitality, healthcare support, food
- {1 P. P; z. m# fservices and others.! d8 P* @& E$ V; ?. H

Candidates for this funded program must be landed immigrants, Canadian; a N8 O0 A) t- _
citizens or refugees who are eligible to work in Canada and who have:
) B) B J3 \& m* English communication skills in the 4 - 6 range on CLB0 J4 m. f$ L9 b" `* Z7 y
* Basic literacy and numeracy skills and some secondary or post-7 I) a9 v; {: ~, q: T* f
secondary education9 r) X) C5 }/ ?; _
* A genuine interest in finding permanent employment in a high-demand3 n/ D+ p+ n& R# Z4 Q1 b
occupation! A% I, q. ~1 X
* Availability to study fulltime for 5 months and then be employed' c* I9 d. J+ x
* Willingness to commit to a program and future job% Z# I6 R" p% e j
* Resided in Alberta for the past 3 months

* Get First Aid/CPR and WHMIS certificates
