Our mandate is to provide access to information and resources that will assist entrepreneurs and the small business community to start and grow their business. The Business Link’s toll-free business information line, web-based services, innovative uses of video conferencing technologies, and walk-in centers in Edmonton and Calgary ensure clients throughout Alberta have access to our many resources.

We are currently looking for a Client Services Representative to assist us with welcoming clients to our centre, recommending services based on their inquiry, coordinating office maintenance, administrative duties, and data entry.1 o, Q3 Q  K' y* l( @  J, A

" T4 c+ F2 S1 |+ W•        Providing exceptional client service to walk-in and phone clients of The Business Link and tenant organizations
3 ?6 r* b& i, F( c, Y; b•        Keeping calendar of events up to date including arrangement and acceptance of new bookings and successful completion of scheduled meetings : Z/ v- K; h: s; A: P
•        Working closely with the Business Marketing Officer to ensure that the front desk displays are in compliance with TBL’s marketing approach $ K3 c) b" {/ e) {; ^/ _+ Y! l  R
•        Promoting TBL products and services $ ]# g/ E1 j, D7 R: n
•        Accurately processing sales and performing daily cash balance 6 |! D0 P" D9 \: V) q; Q; r, {
•        Providing appropriate paperwork to account payables and receivables 9 [3 }# S- W9 S/ o+ h
•        Taking part in team and individual projects that will contribute to efficient provision of TBL’s services across Alberta . m7 \9 m3 Z( W3 p  ]
•        Keeping accurate tracking of client interactions – data entry3 r! e  c; m' C' A2 U1 \/ A
•        Assisting with administration of the Guest Advisor Program $ M5 x5 u. L7 e; ^7 f0 x$ T
•        Arranging catering for various meetings . ^% s6 m1 D# p# X( a' e2 z
•        Opening and closing of The Business Link Office
! Z" w- i" `5 f4 \( H7 U/ Z•        Ensuring that the front desk and boardrooms are clean, tidy, and stocked with supplies at all times

4 N; b0 U- I9 d" U9 t) ^. u& NEducation and Experience' p- f3 o7 ?- K; n$ E1 z+ d+ e/ z/ O

& g3 r" X3 X# f•        Minimum 2 years of Customer service experience % T' H" j  O& p0 N8 Z6 ?
•        Administrative experience including reception, cash register, and scheduling
+ s0 A# T) |2 `' o6 e$ j0 \+ e•        College Certificate or Diploma in related field.* Z. y$ W0 ?9 N. j: H0 s# `4 d

; F8 l- S& I6 W1 Z! x3 ISkills0 _+ F% Q* x7 {

        Strong work ethic
! E8 p0 l+ i8 D. ]9 i        Professional, diplomatic and  self-starter
! D: M+ @, R+ m+ @9 h        Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
1 L& P' q; M' P7 k" t        Problem solving skills to define problems and recommend practical solutions" g3 E# e7 J1 K# C
        Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships at all levels of the organization
