Job Duties / Responsibilities
3 A* o& D$ t/ t) CThis role is responsible for the following activities representing site: z$ A9 S5 ~6 a l
• First line SPI support for site personnel as it pertains to all SPI databases representing the operating Plants; this includes interfacing with Nexen Corporate SPI 2nd line support
6 |. a$ w3 k1 P9 c( U' M• Provide SPI training to Operations personnel1 C/ h2 Q+ A1 \) Y9 O2 `8 k, f8 X
• Administer User Group permissions, and site user accounts+ l" r' o8 Z3 y5 Y+ G8 w
• SPI Redline incorporation (As-Building) of Instrument Index, Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Loop Drawings, Instrumentation Panel Strip Reports, and Foundation Fieldbus Segments- x' A$ p/ S% X i% ?. x- U/ M3 ^
• Assist Instrument Engineering with preparation of engineering packages including assigning & approval of tag numbers, and generation of loop drawings, data sheets & wiring diagrams

O6 q- F# ]# Y' k• Adherence to the Corporate data handling and storage practices as it pertains to Instrumentation deliverables
: g) c4 n7 q, w! B; [$ r- J• Site governor of Nexen SPI Corporate standards, procedures, workflows, and guidelines. Taking direction from the Corporate SPI Administrator
' k% T) K! |$ m; v• Site coordinator for SPI data dissemination for maintenance and operations concurrent projects. Interfacing with the Nexen Corporate SPI Administrator to ensure Projects have timely access to the required data.+ A3 d$ R3 a6 R, W2 z1 T& o

3 `4 I+ Z& b- I+ oEducation / Experience
: s* y L2 \) m* o' l+ m9 [• Must have a minimum of 5 years hands on experience as a Designer working in INtools/SPI
" B/ v1 Q; s7 {9 \; D% n7 w5 T• Must have a minimum of 2 years hands on experience as an INtools/SPI Administrator
, u4 N4 h& f0 T4 M' K• Diploma in Engineering Drafting Technology or a combination of education and experience will be considered
6 J7 G3 d4 n* \& J• Experience with Autocad v2008 and Microstation v8 is required
5 i( ^ |8 q- i3 W/ t• Experience with Livelink, Smart Plant Electrical and Smart Plant P&ID will be considered an asset+ x4 y; r8 [" ~# t$ M+ J
• Experience working as a member of an Owner Operator organization supporting SPI is an asset. |
