Development, maintenance and  management of Transportation North's:

Equipment, construction and quality specifications;

Provide and/or coordinate technical support related to design standards and specifications as required.  
7 q% l# Z, h/ Z8 H# I Responsibilities  
& W% r$ d. z4 P# f4 @ Coordinate the review and approval of new and existing (under revision) technical engineering standards, engineering equipment specifications, quality specifications, and construction specifications. Coordinate the review and approval of deviations from these standards and specifications.

Promote the appropriate use of the standards and specifications.

. h7 i( V+ d9 AAssist with the education of the Engineering Departments and other stakeholders as appropriate on standards, specifications, and code requirements.

2 H* b1 Q3 q/ {7 uInvestigate and / or coordinate the investigation of current Enbridge practices and requirements for continued suitability.

6 s9 L6 {: T+ P$ h/ U3 DPromptly respond to queries and change requests regarding the standards and specifications.

7 \: `3 ?' }( ^Assist with the creation and maintenance of background and historical information regarding the content and requirements of the standards and specifications.

Support vendor management activities and the pre-qualification of critical material/equipment vendors as required.

Coordinate reviews, ongoing creation and refinement of the Typical Design Details.  Coordinate technical reviews and continued retention of technical patents held by Enbridge as required.  
Qualifications  
Minimum of P.Eng designation with APEGGA registration.
! B) i  t$ ?( n6 M# f
Minimum of 4 years progressive mechanical engineering and project management experience, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
# Z3 B8 n& b2 X4 v
Sound business judgment.

The ability to represent and understand Enbridge business needs.
* ]. b! [3 b2 l) K# T$ d% N
2 i" g4 h6 J; uStrong technical skills.
