This position is responsible to manage and organize pipeline engineering (including detailed design) and construction for the Husky Sunrise pipeline facilities being managed by Major Projects. The position is accountable to manage the overall pipeline project scope and for ensuring engineering/design, construction and commissioning are completed in a timely and cost effective manner within the approved project schedule and budget, and complying with all standards and specifications.

3 S+ ]2 M0 u3 K7 _. ] Accountable for the overall pipeline scope (approximately $200 million), as well as engineering, construction and commissioning costs and schedule associated with the project, including regularly working with internal business sponsors/customers to change execution strategies and/or tactics to optimize the commercial benefit of the project to the company. , _& A$ m1 c9 E, R; g$ P

Through close coordination with project team members and internal functional groups, responsible to ensure that engineering, construction and commissioning elements of all project facilities are in compliance with regulatory, environmental, health and safety requirements. . g: A h% t. {) E

Accountable for the quality, cost, scope and schedules of all facilities work performed by internal resources, consultants and contractors as related to engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning. 3 ~- F b# Q5 E' H0 z& r3 V

Must be capable of effectively representing Enbridge at Regulatory hearings with respect to pipeline engineering, construction and commissioning. ' s3 p* B1 h$ k9 ]9 u# T

7 p; l% U' u9 _4 cResponsible for all pipeline engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning personnel assigned to the projects, including appropriately assessing staffing requirements to complete assigned projects (company and consultants), and evaluating performance.

( P/ }% C$ x; A$ ^' o' NDevelop, lead, and motivate a team of full-time, shared and/or contracted resources in delivering reliable and effective development, support, and enhancement of pipeline engineering, construction and commissioning for the project. , f) `! n5 S0 W# m' ~9 P
# q& X; T. G9 a2 Z2 I- [; X, ]Accountable to ensure compliance with project processes, procedures, design standards (includes providing recommendations for improvements).

) z$ N* @0 v- KResponsible for ensuring that throughout the execution process, a high level of communication is maintained with both internally and externally, with affected/involved stakeholders.

/ H9 U: ^0 v* VAccountable for selecting and implementing best practices in project management, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning to produce cost benefits to customers and to enhance the economic return to the Company.
$ j }& v) b' [& ] Qualifications
% i4 _8 o3 ]0 N0 m) M4 s A Professional Engineer with a minimum of 15 years of progressively responsible project experience, that includes a minimum of 10 years of combined experience in engineering, construction, and commissioning, preferably pipeline facilities-related, and relevant people leadership experience.
; s" W1 `' H* j) w/ K$ O( I3 U( n, M6 D
A related degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, with extensive demonstrated experience in managing technical aspects of large, complex projects involving a number of internal and external stakeholders. 9 I+ T( l# L5 S7 p! {2 u3 H& X
8 b; `4 v4 L; K2 TKnowledge of financial and administrative processes as well as human resources management as it relates to project management, in particular engineering, construction, and commissioning. . B& V; H2 L( m' l1 Q4 v
. Q; ^# ^ n( O+ ?! x Q" u: S/ j \Proven communicator in diverse and complex environments, with emphasis on regulatory, community, government and aboriginal stakeholders. 5 e) y' d9 h7 j! @3 U5 ?
