Enbridge Energy Company, Inc, a leader in natural gas transportation, gathering, and processing, is currently seeking a Field Technician for our Decatur, TX Area..  The select candidate will ensure the safe and efficient operations of all pipelines, compressor stations, dehydration facilities and natural gas treating plants.  
  t8 z) L: {$ g0 M: b8 K Responsibilities  
Specific duties will include:
Performs all job functions within the Safety and Environmental policies of Enbridge (US) and governmental laws and orders.
Performs inspections, completes documentation and maintains files for all operational functions required by governmental agencies and company policies.
8 z% S  S2 x$ tPerforms operations, inspection, maintenance and documentation of pipelines, R-O-W, compressors, and dehydration facilities. Determines root cause of any major or repeated failures.
% e' P. X/ J# h/ WEnsures natural gas and liquid quality are within pipeline and/or contract specifications.  
Performs pigging operations, drip blowing and natural gas flow changes as per nominations.
2 C, b' T3 X6 o) _$ ZMaintains files pertaining to Process Safety Management.
0 t8 \# A1 i5 ]4 K" GAssists team in scheduling maintenance of equipment and supplies to ensure minimum downtime and efficient job completion.
Installs, calibrates and maintains natural gas measurement devices.
) U/ Y9 W/ X& Y3 ]0 ADownloads, transmits and edits natural gas volumes from electronic meters monthly.
Coordinates with Gas Supply department on new projects including ROW purchases, purchase of materials, hiring of installation contractors, and communicating with customers about connection timing.
1 i6 [$ [8 C7 I3 w6 W+ EParticipates in the budget process and is responsible for the month-to-month variance of expenditures.

4 d0 V4 j! A$ O( k Qualified candidates will possess a High School diploma or general education degree (GED), with a minimum of 6 years of experience with various natural gas pipelines. Requires knowledge of various computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Access.  Must be able to work without supervision and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.   Candidates must possess a valid driver's license.
