! W" a! F  t! v# S4 k6 y Enbridge Inc. has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Credit Advisor within the Enterprise Risk Department. Reporting to the Manager, Credit the Credit Advisor administers credit policy, procedures and processes applicable to the management of counterparty credit risk for Enbridge Inc. and its subsidiaries.  The Advisor will prepare regular reports which describe and quantify counterparty credit exposures and where necessary recommend required actions to mitigate credit risk and undertake such actions as required and authorized.  In association with operating groups, execute credit control procedures as warranted by risk/exposure guidelines and policy/procedure.  The incumbent will develop metrics and processes for determining the credit quality of non-rated counterparties.

2 F! V+ e, ]3 Q2 q0 J& j As a member of the credit group, participate in the implementation of credit policy, procedures and processes to measure, monitor and control counterparties credit risk impacting Enbridge Inc. and its subsidiaries. ( H$ }- k" S4 I) h2 f
Utilizing approved financial analysis and metric methodologies, determine the credit strength of non-rated counterparties.
( q! ~  _: r* w; Y* }, A" QDetermine/recommend credit limits for both rated and non-rated counterparties and as authorized; approve credit limits and assist with monitoring and administering counterparty credit exposure within approved limits and guidelines.
* Y; d8 K+ _5 C' \9 cMaintain a process to regularly review credit risk limits and to "flag" potential credit problems and ensure that required credit reviews are maintained on a timely basis and any known "credit events" are adequately monitored and appropriate credit mitigation actions taken.
5 {8 V2 D- ^& ]; B; X2 d& m/ w; i% I9 DCo-ordinate, with other members of the credit group, any necessary credit support facilities and other forms of security necessary to grant credit authorization.
4 H8 M5 Z  O0 `/ y. q2 mMonitor developments in credit risk, impacting Enbridge counterparties through contacts and reporting systems provided by credit reporting agencies and debt rating agencies. 9 d' i* w3 G1 Q+ K! b. d
Provide support for Business Development initiatives by providing advice on credit risk issues associated with new acquisitions or expanded business lines. 7 @' P: ]) B( h
Identify potential credit event risks to Enbridge and it's subsidiaries through contacts within the credit industry and direct contact with counterparties dealing with Enbridge.
7 Y+ F9 @  ]2 m& D" qLiaise with industry credit professionals regarding industry activities and participant issues which could impact Enbridge and its subsidiaries negatively.  Pro-actively manage counterparty credit exposure to minimize potential negative impacts. 9 a7 y2 {5 o0 y! i" r9 h* e- \
Conduct such other activities as may be requested by the Manager, Corporate Credit.  ; R7 H( p9 u5 c
Qualifications  : c, U4 X) I& i& \, B" A# e3 C, S! Q9 L
Knowledge of counterparty credit risk measurement methodology and credit processes.
# F0 r+ ?- G# M, bAccounting designation, MBA, CFA combined with a commerce degree and 2 - 4 years of credit-related experience; significant related business experience will be also considered. # y+ d" U5 x( P$ D+ E' t# [# a" D
Completion or advanced standing in business/finance professional designation desirable.
1 x( S) ]/ |$ w; m* M- j6 qStrong interpersonal skills to enable the incumbent to interact with industry credit professionals and manage potentially sensitive corporate client relationships.
