, u' v, {7 A- w% N5 Y% p#1 Opportunity Plus Case Manager: The Opportunity Plus Program provides women who have left an abusive relationship with up to twelve months of full time programming to learn skills and access supports to succeed in employment or education to become self-sufficient.

7 f8 Q) n3 y7 D9 L5 QThe Case Manager is responsible in collaboration with the client to: develop a Client Service Plan; input data into Mobius; refer client to Community services, develop plans and job search for work, school or other training; individual training on curriculum modules; liaison with employers, development of a training plan, retention needs and provides follow up with both the client and employer. , B- B7 q8 t- H# e) ^' P
S6 @1 R' s: X# W& H0 m& t
Education: Post secondary education in career development, social work, psychology, education or rehabilitation. Experience: Awareness of domestic/family violence, policing, court, community resources and risk and assess safety planning. A minimum of three years experience working with women who have been impacted by domestic abuse.! E: g/ p& o) z( V$ u) z+ h3 Q4 T

#2 Case Manager – Transitions: The Transitions Program helps to provide support and promotes leaving the streets and living a healthier lifestyle for women with past or present involvement in the sex trade. This position provides advocacy, case management support, and ongoing outreach, record management duties, providing action planning and outcome management and duties similar to the Case Manager Opportunities Plus position. Hours of work at 27.5 per week.

Education: same as Case Manager Opportunity Plus. Experience: The successful candidate must have worked with this population at least three years and be able to demonstrate an understanding of the needs and services required to assist clients in moving forward and remaining in the program. Understanding on job search, labour market, placement and community services available is a must.
