ENGL111,is it easy to pass?

大家好，我是新生，也是刚从国内出来。现在面临选课难题。有人建议第一年最好不要选ENGL111,恐怕英语能力吃不消。可是这就意味着在第一年就要选适当数目的二年级课程，困难也是有的。我是学生物的，想听听各位学兄学姐的意见。多谢！

It is very difficult for English as a second language students, and most international students cannot get high marks in this course. It is most difficult for me.However, if you work hard and read a lot and your English level is not very bad. You can pass naturely. Please notice, if you want to learn Biology, I think Engl 111 is required courses in the first year. So please double check your Major required courses, then ask me if you still have some questions.

太谢谢了。不过可能是我对UA制度不太了解，我以为选课只是受到prerequisite的限制，但是没有说一年级的课必须一年级修完，只要在毕业前修完就行了。如果不是这样的话，我就惨了，因为我一口气就选了4门二年级的课。

English 111 is not hard to pass, depend on your desire.Usually, students could get c and B level mark.English 101 is more difficult than English 111, ENG111 is the prepared course for ENG 101.Some lucky guys get good mark because of the instructor, choose a nice teacher,hopefully.
