-        Supervise and co-ordinate sales staff and cashiers
: i' S" n+ \; b) K-        Assign sales workers to duties and prepare work schedules
4 X0 V0 w! u7 B+ T9 N) ?- Q-        Authorize payments by cheque and the return of merchandise
2 [8 M! E6 z) P, U; J2 ^-        Sell merchandise to customers
2 c1 o  u) q: |  R* a4 S. q: P-        Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages
& K4 L0 Z% f  L-        Maintain specified inventory and order merchandise
4 B; Y- [* R* G1 j' T-        Prepare reports regarding sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
-        Hire and train or arrange for the training of new sales staff

-        Completion of secondary school is required
7 ^/ s* ]" ~) d4 b* n-        At least 1 year of retail sales experience as a retail salesperson or sales clerk is required
-        Experience in the furniture sales would be an asset
