Position Summary
Under general direction of the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator serves as a team
player, supervisor, mentor, guide, develop and coordinate the program called “Aboriginal
Mothers Advocacy Project” (AMAP).

To assist for the development of program: train staff, development of project plan, support groups, focus groups, assessment tool for clients, develop an intake form, develop a consent form, release and share information forms, develop filing system, develop a schedule for telephone intakes, home visits and develop other project, and other tasks that you see fit.

Job Qualification
Must possess a Degree in Social Work or Human Services
& v0 B9 F6 n7 S# P% P! J& cMust be knowledgeable of Aboriginal people’s history (Residential School and 60’s
School)
- Y1 S2 G) c. u0 gMust have supervisory experience
Must understand the child welfare, justice and legal system
# w: ~/ o# S9 m+ R3 a& A0 OMust be computer literate
2 }! i+ J: n! h$ Z( @6 C0 ~0 gMust present criminal record check, child welfare check, $2 million liability and abstract.
Must possess knowledge of Aboriginal agencies and network
9 k/ |2 z3 |8 L- V+ D- b: U9 TMust possess a well developed communication and organization skills
Must possess a well developed interpersonal skills and ability to work with an already
- h2 \9 P1 n. c  yestablish team.
