For Candidates wishing to relocate, flight to Edmonton International Airport is included. Assistance will be offered to help the successful candidate to find accommodation, but relocation expenses are not offered.

About the Program:
The Career Bridge program, operated by Career Edge Organization, is an innovative paid internship program that responds to Canada’s labour market demand for internationally qualified professionals and to aspirations of qualified immigrants eager to work in their professional fields in Canada.   The Career Bridge program provides an opportunity for candidates to apply their skills and expertise in the Canadian workforce.

In order to qualify for the Career Bridge internship program, applicants MUST meet the following criteria:
1.        Legally entitled to work in Canada
. D4 f% ]% j' ~$ _2.        Immigrated to Canada within the last 3 years
3.        Have a minimum of 3 years full-time international work experience in his/her professional field
4.        Be able to attend a pre-screening interview via phone or video conference
: u, d$ n' K+ f& C6 Z' n5.        Possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree from Canada
/ J; o9 B' f( l; c9 G5 q$ KOR
If you have a degree from an international university or college from outside of Canada, you MUST contact a Canadian credential assessment agency to obtain a Canadian equivalency official assessment document. You must obtain your assessment before you can pre-register in the Career Bridge program and your official assessment document must demonstrate that your international degree is equivalent to at least a Canadian bachelor's degree.

6.        Be seeking Canadian work experience in a non-regulated business function
7.        Lack paid work experience in his/her profession in Canada
8.        Able to demonstrate strong English or bilingual (English/French) workplace communication skills appropriate for mid-level professional positions
