The Supports for People with DisABILITIES Program requires a 48 hour Weekend Worker for the Northwood Residence. This position will provide residential support to 3 men with developmental & physical disabilities and personal care needs. The hours for this position are Friday 11:00pm – Sunday 11:00pm.

• Acting as a strong advocate for the individuals in the community
& c5 W- K) C3 u( ^4 Z1 u4 U• Program implementation
• Completion of daily documentation and data collection
• Facilitation of recreation and leisure
• Personal care, including lifts and transfers of individuals
2 l# L2 I& I+ p8 Z5 ]• Behavior management
• Medication Administration
! y, _  K* H6 d$ _% X) f• Day to day operations in a residential setting, including meal preparation, and household cleaning and maintenance

' K$ ^/ P4 O8 f2 g! F4 {( A7 mEducation
+ E9 v% e# q. i% {  o! s1 e+ k0 p• Completion of a high school diploma
• Six months of experience in the Human Services field
! M5 ?1 ?( }/ XTraining & Clearances (*Available from McMan at no cost to the employee)
• Security Clearance Check including the Vulnerable Persons Sector Check (within the last 6 months)
* _7 ~; a+ H7 H- o1 O1 Y/ [• Children’s Services Intervention Record Check (within the last 6 months)
2 x7 U  f* b; }7 T  x* l• Standard First Aid with CPR
• *Suicide Awareness or Suicide Intervention training
• *Non-violent Crisis Intervention Training
• *Medication Administration

: p: X/ x; r5 ~: {• Good verbal and written communication skills
! J" A2 C5 M$ j' t• Experience with personal care
• Ability to complete physical lifts and transfers of individuals
Salary: $13.43 - $14.25 per hour, plus benefits beginning day one of employment
