Scope and Purpose of Job
+ ?( F+ d1 h" P& cEmployee would be responsible for handling all technical support for Lab Equipment systems (both hardware & software), to include lab testing & dyeing, dispensing, sample conditioning, and lighting cabinets. Work as the technical liaison with 3rd party suppliers.  Work very closely with Product Manager on new product development for all laboratory equipment.

" @. C+ \$ ?& b7 G" I% p1 j•        Be the global primary contact for support for Lab Equipment Systems and liaise with 3rd party supplier on any issues.
•        Answering all technical questions concerning mechanical functions and software operations.
•        Assist with troubleshooting ideas on technical and software problems
: [1 f, b# ^; B# L% n: po        Test all new patch versions of software prior to release
•        Assist where needed in application questions.
•        Check all technical documentation for correctness prior to field distribution.
/ h2 g( H+ [  C/ w" U; [o        New parts and replacement parts and installation procedures
( A5 }: L4 B5 v4 l" _7 L( `o        Translation to Chinese and other languages if needed
•        Track and report all warranty failures
& l% j, U2 A8 u( J! {o        Make monthly report to Product Manager and 3rd party supplier.
* L1 H6 s) n0 a0 Bo        Recommend remedy to improve product quality and design.
4 W& x+ P! E$ M+ F6 J•        Assist Product Manager in all new product development plans for all Lab Equipment products.  In some cases act as the Project Manager for new product development.
o        Run field Beta test sites and any new idea testing and make reports
- q& o9 m* H  ^. U  k; I4 z1 Go        Assist in information gather for any new product idea.
6 }' h; O. ^; D2 wo        Assist in writing and new product specification
o        Point of expert contact for implementation of features/functions.
o        Act as technical applications expert on development team.
•        Assist in Sales support & training.
1 \- x( u% ~7 N( R•        Responsible for any technical training needed for products, either given by the supplier or actually give the training in person.  To use both Web-based and on-site training tools.

Educational / Professional Background        Technical School Graduate       
Professional Experience (Years and Field of Activity)       
/ O: }$ B5 p' n; w" [) s8 v5+ years working as technical specialist for textile laboratory equipment. Expereince with textile laboratory dispensers
! r& h- |& [& p& O8 VList of Skills/Qualifications       
•        Must have an extensive background in textile laboratory equipment uses and workflow process.  Understanding of textile dyeing processes.
•        Background knowledge of dispensers and software
0 K: X6 z- |7 T; O8 d! W•        Proficient in software use and writing.
) f7 ~; e% n" K) g7 z•        Excellent communicator both verbally and in written reports.
•        Ability to travel worldwide.
•        Speak Chinese & English very clearly.
