0 E. k$ D! Z+ N A2 H# ]) k. N+ V• Review damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed
4 d- D9 S, k* c, W% D9 U/ j• Repair and replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components
; C) [6 M. H. Y8 Y z4 L• Hammer out dents, buckles and other defects using blocks and hammers' e7 r5 ]% `7 ` C
• Operate soldering equipment or use plastic filler to fill holes, dents and seams. d% ?. P+ A8 _/ q/ y z
• Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills using wrenches and cutting torch and bolt or weld replacement parts into place
6 K3 h% \% U5 B/ M9 }• Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment
9 }. S9 l' s X1 t+ c• File, grind and sand repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools+ H* w! U, T# K9 S8 p) X
• Mask and tape auto body surfaces in preparation for painting, r9 m, H+ e! S% z2 k; I, e
• Mix paint, blend and match colors
' P W5 C& o% e/ }+ m4 I+ T9 ^• Apply primers and repaint surfaces using brush or spray guns
: w1 {0 c- y7 [5 G: r/ S1 t& o• Repair and replace glass components such as windshields, windows and sunroofs

• Inspect repaired vehicles and test drive vehicles for proper handling

A combination of over three years of work experience in the motor vehicle body repair trade 2 o" I# T5 f+ K i
• Alberta Trade certification for motor vehicle body repair (metal and paint) is compulsory 6 N3 K* `8 ~4 ?; w
