turned off. After the ignition has been turned off, the status LED
[6 \+ p" R8 O3 v9 z; A7 ewill flash rapidly to indicate that the system is in Passive Mode.2 N5 L5 q1 t4 n
If Passive Mode has been programmed on, then it is also possible
1 f1 O, U6 O, C+ u Q2 zto program the system for Passive Locking. With Passive Locking,
8 {8 P& I7 @! K7 _3 r R/ @& pthe vehicle doors lock automatically at the same time that the Failsafe®
! P: c a, v3 n9 B5 G$ WStarter Kill is activated. If Passive Locking is programmed on, care

The optional Failsafe® Starter Kill will be deactivated. The status

the starter kill and re-lock the doors (if Passive Locking has been0 D5 r: O# k# E. C! H
programmed) in 30 seconds unless the ignition is turned on.

If your remote transmitter is lost or damaged, you can manually7 F; b) A; ^6 |- I' f2 v7 Z5 _) D
override the starter kill. To do this, you must have the vehicle's
) [% h% H- _: }ignition key and know where the Valet button is located. Be sure; Y& A! g* ?4 @+ m& g$ {6 D* z+ U
to check with the installer for the location of the Valet button.

Valet button within 10 seconds.( ~6 b# @$ [: S0 K. e, @; m
The status LED will stop flashing. h l! W8 ^4 M9 K
and the vehicle should start. If it does not start,, U4 }7 m' Q, q
you may have waited too long; turn the ignition off and repeat the9 {! c1 Q9 C7 w2 l
process.
