Tracer Industries Canada Limited (owned by Tyco Thermal Controls) is now accepting applications for a Senior Human Resources Generalist.
$ s8 `' i' r6 m" fReporting to the Human Resources Manager, your duties will include, but not be limited to:4 O- F9 Z+ Q* K. D; V
•        Encourage and enhance a positive and professional working environment.- l: `: k. v# I1 S6 M! U
•        Foster positive employee relations through effective interpersonal communication with all team members., v) @+ {/ y7 V% `; |! c: G
•        Support the introduction, training and participation in Human Resources related programs, including performance management, ethical conduct and career development.- D% S( ?7 T( o9 W7 Z. v
•        Promote management best practices and provide guidance on employment standards and employee relations issues.
! ~* [8 e8 b! i% O) o+ S8 ~•        Research, develop and implement recognition and retention strategies and initiatives. $ K% I4 i9 N$ O/ R
•        Participate in full cycle recruitment process to successfully attract candidates.
! R( U( F' ]! [$ `. {2 \3 `$ w6 I: F•        Prepare required Human Resources reporting (including ad hoc reports, turnover statistics, organizational charts, employee updates, weekly recruiting reporting) as required.
/ r4 Z7 u  u$ h; H7 x- D, _•        Distribute pertinent information to the Payroll Department and Tracer's benefit providers.
2 F' T2 }5 f( L1 j1 Y, R/ r•        Maintain personnel information for union and non-union employees in Tracer's Human Resources Information System (SAP).2 ]. R, j& [$ q6 f& M7 u" l
•        Coordinate the company group RRSP plan and employee stock purchase program.6 }. y  c7 D, P3 N7 G
•        Support the development and implementation of company forms, policies and procedures.
+ I$ @. w! i0 ]' \•        Attend and participate in departmental meetings.# X# ~; m# [/ n, S% C9 ~
•        Assist with the formulation and implementation of internal training programs.

Qualifications
7 [* W% C( Z9 QRequirements:* p" O+ A. T' k( G
•        Applicants must possess a high level of integrity and professionalism, as well as strong organizational and written and verbal communication skills. ' v' e. C9 w7 j; x
•        The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years experience in a Human Resources Generalist position, as well as post-secondary education specializing in Human Resources.
2 F9 l; d8 y' I9 x* i6 G•        Strong Union Relations experience required. 8 P1 F- y$ A, C$ }* Q7 N) z# I
•        Proficiency in MS Office is required and SAP experience is considered an asset.! M8 E# ?& u0 e0 W- i
•        CHRP Designation is an asset.
