- submit information for community news
& J. Y3 b- \- i4 s3 T- provide volunteers to update membership database
" k; [5 b; E+ S7 p# q- recruiting, performing security and reference checks, providing orientation, supervising, referring and placing volunteers
5 d3 Z# }* C9 M9 {+ N- train volunteers for ISP and provide duties$ _- K3 t/ f* E, \
- train volunteers for Centre and provide duties
* {( |- ?! D, X& S' B' B, ?& }- provide volunteers for various programs ' {# \1 m, y7 q, T- O
- coordinate, update Volunteer Manual, A' _' k+ p! ~% B
- planning and coordinating Volunteer Appreciation9 `" h/ B- }6 O6 C' U" {3 S4 o+ D
- participate in ISP department and agency meetings/activities' e: _+ I) ~. I/ V8 x/ P5 H4 B
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to volunteer services

- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as needed* F9 w5 p) V$ b; C
- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)' M0 ?: c6 S0 a: D1 z. o; W
- promoting volunteerism through various media including the 3 main Chinese newspapers, Chinese radio station and the Chinese television, Fairchild TV, brochures, pamphlets, booth displays, special events

- k. v& P8 k) N7 n" P4 j2 }' ?- planning and implementing training sessions for volunteers ) |* c0 T' |( X X
- planning and implementing training sessions for staff that work with volunteers * W0 l! m' H* a8 ~. {8 m* @
- consulting and reporting to the Advisory Committee on a regular basis 0 G2 z# U2 @/ M
- evaluations 6 K8 ~: o' \4 T) V- C, Q& F, l6 m( Z
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre3 N, w8 h* X( } ?6 N8 p

- degree or diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or related experience and education2 L) T+ k1 H* \( s. c
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
1 \4 f8 c* I! a) g |) Z: N- experience in volunteer coordinating and immigrant services
9 i. p+ f' b( |4 p" R; D3 l- leadership skills
