Responsibilities and Tasks

- Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications
. F2 ]$ p$ t0 \+ S! J. t8 C9 \- Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW), gas metal arc welding (GMAW), flux-cored arc welding (FCAW), plasma arc welding (PAW), shielded metal arc welding (SMAW), oxy-acetylene welding (OAW), resistance welding and submerged arc welding (SAW)- }7 f6 t3 E J7 N5 w" ^5 \
- Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
j! M1 d( W5 ~+ W5 N( M- Operate brazing and soldering equipment7 _: o% X% F$ Z9 m; e$ s/ I2 Q3 e
- Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes, shears and other metal straightening and bending machines. q5 w' T' x! `: D8 y# b: h6 S
- Repair worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers3 j9 `4 v* y* `% B% N4 v

Required Qualifications
0 Y, {0 |/ P- h1 c# i [# J- Completion of secondary school / S5 L5 e. g5 ^; q0 k
- A minimum of 5 years’ work experience as an industrial Welder" r( j# }0 _; [" z5 ^: E
- Basic English communication skills! H9 b$ m$ U" F+ _
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals% M% K. h% Q2 i L4 r( s# g- [9 ?
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
. f0 r' Y0 U& _) s- f3 a+ y- Welder trade certification is considered an asset
