Job Responsibilities8 O  J4 l. v% }  Y2 }, v" \2 I: p
•        To minimize the costs of operation in the Front Office Department while maximizing revenues.
8 p# J& K( A# Y, T$ l  [/ f% @3 |•        Oversee hotel security requirements. 5 K( C1 Y! ~$ F# X% h
•        To recruit, train and develop Front Office personnel and provide direction, support, mentor and motivate as necessary.
  c" L7 l1 l, r/ K; i( V3 X•        To maintain or exceed the established standards of operation. 7 o: i$ A$ R$ O- ]
•        To ensure the assets of the Front Office Department are maintained and controlled in accordance with the standards and objectives of the Hotel.
- x! b) |. s& H/ V, k& m•        To communicate effectively with other Departments Heads to levels of business and type of business.% [6 R6 j, V, K: v3 r& i
•        To ensure positive closure to any negative situation. Handling and resolving guest complaints and unwanted guests.* [( R# h; p" k
•        Be able to work all shifts including night audit when business levels are warranted. I.e. working weekends, covering sick leave.
" [% N- k$ i3 E•        Weekly scheduling of the front desk staff. : R+ c$ c$ f$ ~1 m; Q3 f
•        Manage rates on a daily basis for short and long term. ) ~! ]3 i) }# ^; ^
•        Perform 3 month and one year evaluations and/or when needed.
$ I; z/ w. P: Z( R7 e; y! G•        Leading and coaching to provide exceptional guest service.
  N7 T+ x* n' z1 o3 d) g•        Ensuring the safety and well being of our guests and co-workers by having working knowledge of crisis and emergency procedures and that all front desk staff are also aware.
/ V* X. B: y/ w# W) A% V9 k/ Z•        Attend Cluster meetings.
* c+ t9 i+ ^6 e: ]( `•        Complete month end report, ROB, Cluster calendar, tracking, forecasting, source of business and any other revenue related report.* X$ t7 A& v& j9 Y
•        Handle PMS computer problems in each department
- R6 E! K4 x' S" r( z- j$ ^8 o•        Handle any issue with the 4 different interfaces : PBX call accounting, PBX messages, voice mail and movies
9 z/ r/ {" C, h  V0 U•        Handle any issues dealing with high speed internet in guest rooms or business center
2 G; U+ ~* B  ^/ N•        Maintaining front desk floats, and FOM float
2 D0 M* r. K  ~- `2 o•        Any other tasks assigned by the General Manager

( F1 P1 ~# @- x4 t: S9 t•1-2 year of Management/ Supervisory experience in a Limited Service Property or Full Service Property
3 F) e+ v. P* R• Ability to deal with all levels of management, staff and businesses in a professional manner;
- Y& ]$ ^9 X( M# x6 N# ?9 p• Ability to lead and develop;
2 {, p, Z9 C5 X3 w• Background in the development & execution of business and operating budgets;
' o7 ]/ w+ |0 \5 v• Excellent oral & written communication skills; Strong organizational skills and be detailed orientated;
6 C5 m: i$ O) F4 ]5 [; h! q• Ability to work within deadlines;
2 p! B6 H* w8 L! [9 D# u• High level of creativity and innovation;

• Strong interpersonal skills and a working knowledge of ACT, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
