) c! M* q& B* g( ~! ZThe successful candidate will be responsible for supporting completion of necessary payroll tasks and to ensure accurate payment of wages. Key tasks are:- r; ]: S) E2 ]- s& `
• Punch verification for hourly unionized colleagues 5 J& t# ^6 ~7 P
• Track union colleague attendance
' A( m: R, G$ A6 _+ J• Vacation payment entry and tracking# A6 {0 m7 J$ {2 X
• Process job and status changes, ensuring correct rate of pay is reflected
: E0 k$ e; B& U# |; \• Assist supervisors with resolution to union payroll issues
' z4 ?0 `! J2 }% `5 q s• Reporting and tracking pay-related issues/ I) t* R$ S3 o3 ~* C* i8 u+ h# N2 Y
• Other duties as assigned: w6 @7 j/ Z* C1 o+ O) w0 }

; A. ] `. C2 N1 l• One to three years’ payroll experience
5 |: s0 B" n+ K- |# T% p- ^• Excellent problem solving skills with a strong ability to prioritize workload
3 x' }( ]( ]% ]% p' @7 B& B5 S• Must have excellent organizational, communication and problem solving skills ]1 Y3 ^6 I& d& L2 M# ~. {, l
• Strong computer system experience (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook)

• College degree/diploma preferred# j7 U1 x1 w5 S
