Today Family Violence Help Centre is an innovative centre which operates with an integrated services model providing a single point of entry to comprehensive services for those impacted by family violence in Edmonton and area. The Today Family Violence Help Centre is part of a collaborative, coordinated community response.

! j/ V! l2 M" Z8 s8 E5 XWe are currently looking for an experienced individual for the term position of Housing Support Worker to start immediately. As part of a team, the individual will be required to build a housing registry, develop relationships with community agencies that will address housing needs and coordination of housing services for individuals impacted by Family Violence.

5 y5 z/ M# |- dThe ideal candidate would possess the following qualifications:
& Q3 u2 ?9 K9 ~1 B9 |' A& L Minimum post secondary degree or in progress of obtaining a degree.
 Two to three years front line experience in providing resources to clients with barriers or experience in programs providing housing to clients with barriers.
 Experience in assisting clients who have barriers to accessing housing.
 Commitment to work collaboratively with all constituent groups, including staff, program participants, and community agencies.
! Q) V) @0 y6 _0 a Demonstrated knowledge of community housing resources.
6 @5 E" S7 |; T Excellent computer skills, interpersonal and written communication skills.
4 w3 k0 g, C0 J8 n3 v- m3 p$ V Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
 An understanding of family violence is an asset. The hourly rate is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on the qualifications of
