Key Responsibilities are as follows:; Z% ~9 @" e' H% k
•This position is accountable for the effective development, delivery and evaluation of Integrated Service Program funded by the Citizenship and Immigration Canada and Alberta Human Services 3 P1 g$ L" Z% ^0 W
•Specific accountabilities include analyzing and defining community needs, assisting in the development of new initiatives and overall strategy, participation in community and/or industry advocacy and social action processes, project management, recruitment, leadership and performance appraisal of a team of up to 10 para-professionals and/or volunteers, program priority setting, maintenance of appropriate reporting, development and management of program budget, preparation of report submissions to funding or regulatory bodies

X/ @, }4 X+ U8 f6 D9 q•Required skills include: understanding of client needs and appropriate interventions, program implementation and evaluation, creativity and ongoing program development, leadership and co-ordination of service provision and administrative functions, participation in budget development and monitoring, staff recruiting, supervision, development and evaluation, client case management, program data collection, data and narrative reporting3 i- F- i+ A5 a5 y1 o2 g
•Responsibilities include relationship management with CIC, AHS and other organizations; community development planning and activities; participation in and leadership of agency-wide projects.
* ^4 o, b, {1 n6 Q9 Z$ W2 h) I•Coordination with other program coordinators in LINC, ECALA, family, youth and senior programs is essential

: `: X, u! x* G, \8 K•University degree or diploma in a related field or extensive related experience ;: L( e% J5 J Y# q
•Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit/voluntary organization;
( u7 o/ Y+ b* ?' {•Knowledge of settlement/cross-cultural processes, human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;1 V) v- p( v# U' Q) y7 S# P
•Two or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization or demonstrated potential
, x( q- L, i0 B9 ~; b$ [•Fluent in English, knowledge of another language is preferred but not mandatory.
