Here I would say you might be making a mistake. The house price is not proportionally related to population in that city. ' x8 ~1 q8 S7 U' `, A
$ V3 ~; |/ c0 p( M3 EFor example, if here only 5 houses in market, but 6 families really need housing, the price might get so high that the last one would not afford it, or the last one prefer renting a place somewhere if rental be more affordable for him. So, even 1% population increasing may cause 200% housing price jump up, subject to rental, income and affordability.

Please be carefull when we use any numbers when talking the housing market, that is also the main reason why we generally use a statistical data rather than a number conducted from any formula. |
