DUTIES:

• Answering to the Company Controller, the candidate will assist with invoicing, payables, cash receipts and disbursements, account reconciliation, and G/L entries.
) p) X: m" a* H• Candidate will also be responsible for filing, verifying vendor invoices, and various reporting tasks as required.$ Y! b2 m* n: I% d- j7 d* A
• Candidate will communicate between various departments, including sales, logistics and production to ensure that operations are running as cost-effectively as possible

REQUIREMENTS:8 \+ Z$ U6 Y& M9 C
# D% u$ c3 ~* j) O7 L• Minimum 1-year of experience in Accounting or Accounts Receivable/Payable role& F# y% X* i8 I7 J1 N
• Post-secondary degree or diploma in an Accounting or Finance related field of study
$ K! L2 `% h- ]' p, k" O• Aggressive self-starter with excellent organizational and time-management skills
* J: o* `, _& T7 B/ A6 m% g6 z/ a• Must be highly detail oriented with strong grasp of numbers
4 S6 L, E: T% {& m• Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, data entry)* J9 n4 Q: k/ Q
