SALARY RANGE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience, but overall compensation will be results-based and goal-oriented.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
+ r+ u. S: B7 Z   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
3 g  y9 O4 E3 ?$ c   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
   o Linux based operating systems
   o Sun Solaris operating systems
4 p. Q% K) |9 U! ?+ m   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.
• Proper and detailed documentation of all support and project related calls
( }, Q6 a( l& B3 a2 l• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows
platform, Microsoft Exchange 5.5 – 2003 platform, Citrix Metaframe platform, Microsoft
3 l0 _% l6 g0 v! F* pSMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

* U; J  K7 S; zSKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
. Z: D* U: S1 h3 [- I• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
; J0 R& @: ]) d$ m. g• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
8 u: l/ X+ B1 g2 v+ D' ]  n• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
" H7 H/ {' S1 n! L2 p+ z) G5 K• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
• Certification should include some or all of the following:
0 g. p, w" E( B# r  |   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
- W/ R' k2 u6 {) J$ M0 H, S   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
& l9 y/ y# l, \7 C2 A4 y& W' K) ]   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects

• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
. L3 c9 k& _% I; c6 r) X• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
/ k4 d! m9 _% r1 R• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005
• Have 4+ years of network design experience
• Have led medium to large sized projects
• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
• Clean enhanced criminal record abstract
