The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Schedule:
! v) s( N: U& l4 t- _Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

Job Responsibilities:
/ n ?) e7 r/ v$ d" r# ^6 j# i3 [. }5 @' ]" G$ C% k' z9 W
Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials+ U* z; d* z3 z* x3 X# Q
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials$ t% v' i5 ?6 H' B. ~ M
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material
; U5 Z( I. l8 m- j% Q X& mMust be able to work safely at all times: A( j/ e& ^* O+ J
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently3 u; k- T$ W$ O* a, r$ Q
Performs routine housekeeping.
5 G) ~: b' |: S( q, S6 `& }8 NObserves and reports any safety issues( d$ D- z0 D% T$ X* N3 K
Other duties may be assigned

Metal recycling industry experience is an asset

# o7 W2 P( V7 |4 p# Y7 @( RKnowledge of non-ferrous processing
% [- L/ _8 ?5 G! j( K0 X" O( cHigh school diploma (Or GED)
( {" o; w; s( MWell-articulated and assertive
2 e( ~7 ~1 d: B8 d! RAbility to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization# R e2 I2 o% B7 ~' P4 A6 [* p
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
