) p; s7 ]+ a  ~Duties include: working closely with graduate students and research
( |' s: D& S  h% ^# S% ~6 f1 Htechnicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
4 F' i$ s1 `9 A' N0 k) x0 Gfor use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
include carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
4 [# q& [& r4 qcompounds by chromatography.

# m/ @/ f) c2 F. `3 w9 ^Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
Chemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
! x7 @; l# i( t) b, o7 |- e4 W, hanalytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
of a team essential.

and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
hope to work in these areas.
