1. Serve as a key business and licensing role within a cross-functional team for identification, evaluation and licensing of strategically important technologies.
" G4 r; z3 N7 M$ C$ I2. Manage technology alliance activities, including the coordination of appropriate agreements’ execution, alliance negotiations, and post-deal compliance in China.
: S0 r0 I( a9 S" i4 ~3. Develop business plan and strategy to integrate new technology into existing global research and business platforms. * S7 T- @- V- r
# Y6 b6 ^' k% K/ a# {* ^PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:

1 Y- H5 O5 N7 O/ x% F: C! A1. MBA and/or advanced scientific degree in agricultural biotechnology related fields (such as plant molecular, cellular and developmental biology, genomics, and plant genetics, bioinformatics, etc.) are highly desirable.
: ~$ j+ ?* E0 R/ U1 X9 I. ?0 U# g2. Proven experience in technology identification and licensing within China, or equivalent experience with biotechnology research and commercial licensing agreements is preferred.
0 J. M! \$ a; }% Q3. Working knowledge of Intellectual Property policies, including Chinese and international patent regulations and procedures would be advantageous.
0 E& O& L% Q( K/ d4. Productive business and scientific interactions and good relationships with major biotechnology institutes in China would be advantageous.
6 D/ ]$ {4 S- p5 q+ ]5. Able to work independently as well as cooperatively in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment. / |3 K' s# P- `8 V1 P5 M
6. Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese. 5 e! ^6 H! U' g) ?3 u9 A
7. Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation and problem solving skills.
