1 ?5 i- x+ B7 g' ?1 n4 Y# v( d/ TMy teacher told me I should prepare candies, and many children would come to my home and ask for them. So, I bought many candies from Zellers and Safeway. When I got back home with the candies, my wife told me that there were not enough, so I went to Safeway again and bought more.4 n, M% L1 U2 G
My child was shy and didn’t speak much English, so I taught her how to shout “Trick or Treat”. After two days of training, she is perfect at shouting “Trick or Treat” . + O* F) P* c4 Z/ R% S
October 31st is Halloween. I got up very early that day. My wife prepared chicken which I was going to bring to class for a potluck. My child was very happy because she had already been waitingfor this day for a long time.
. L. Y6 U7 `7 P# b7 @% P& r7 Q# }In the afternoon, we had a potluck in the class. Yuong Sook, a Korean girl, made some sushi which looked very beautiful. Chun Yuan, a Chinese girl, cooked some bouilli which tasted very delicious. Of course my wife cooked the best food because they were all cleared off all gone.+ |9 ~, {& o; z/ s
After lunch, we had a party in the student center. Many students put make up on their faces and wore some strange clothingcostume. They were singing and dancing there. What a happy day!$ I E( z) L3 C Y- o) [8 F$ {
When we gothome, it turned dark. My child said, “Dad, may I go out and ask for candies?”8 [# W3 N! L8 O5 }* f) s
“Yes. Why not?” I said.

To my surprise, only three children came to my home, and I was left with many unclaimedcandies. And, one hour later, my child came back with a full bag. “Dad,” She said, “My bag is full. I have many candies now. What an interesting day!”
