of Alberta will be holding a Spring Festival Evening Party around the6 p9 s0 k A% X# k8 e* e4 U2 A9 n
eve of Chinese lunar New Year to add the diverse community Chinese
* N c7 c0 M1 `$ V, Z! { cultural activities. This event is not only a reminder of food, fun and( n0 m- b- p1 P5 m0 Y8 \& s" [
customs, but also a very good opportunity to wipe out our homesickness on9 ]/ J: i) @7 |! G% l' q0 U
this broad land.

0 I5 l2 C0 p" [3 i- R2 s8 @We encourage students and scholars who are interested in performance to5 u" R9 o1 w" Y3 @: S" A" c; B( a
contribute to the evening party by showcasing your abilities and+ K3 U2 L' m+ O' e, A
talents. Although we have no luxurious dressings and professional skills in; b f3 _ r+ j: L2 g) W
performing arts, the most critical point we have is our passion to show
+ d2 Y% n, D8 |% f ourselves such as any topic related to our life and studies in& W& ^0 a: ?, u9 m6 r
Edmonton. Please come and join us to fill up the party. It’s going to be a% W/ Z" r% ]& B0 i
lot of fun, like what we did before.

As far as your prospective programs are concerned, they can be songs9 ]6 r# `8 {. S3 h" I) i
sung by a single singer or multiple singers, song and dance (Ge Wu),; l8 M; o. M3 M. I) W. d
stand-up comedy (Xiang Sheng), skits (Xiao Pin), drama (Hua Ju) or any2 S9 ^/ R O* y5 R% l6 t. R
performance with instruments (e.g., piano). It would be great if your
/ d5 K( ~0 a# M/ d program could reflect our society. If you have a play for skits, stand-up' Y A* a { P2 }* J
comedy or drama to present, please contact CSSA for performance since" T {% r% Q. u+ F1 L: s* z) E
CSSA executives want to have a show collectively.

3 v9 ?1 i0 Y* m/ m2 m9 [Meanwhile, a host is needed for the evening party. Volunteers are also
$ Z/ r/ }2 C9 [4 i I on demand to work on the stage to assist lighting and audio system
