Position: Reception & Intake Staff / Terms: Part-time share 40 hrs week every two weeks / Salary Range: starts at $15.38 per hour with full benefits / Closing Date: June 27, 08. (Note: Interview dates will be July 2nd & 3rd.)

; ^6 o; b6 P' y4 P; o* J' @0 CThe Support Network has an opening for a courteous, supportive listener looking for reception/office administration work, including reception on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Friday one week - Thursdays & Fridays second week. The hours are from 8:30am to 4:30 pm.  

6 X: E; E0 c& c! U2 t% n  hReporting to the Supervisor of Facilities and Administration, your primary responsibility will be to provide Reception services for The Support Network and conduct initial intake work with counselling clients. You will also assist with office administration duties.

You have: Experience dealing effectively with the public; Ed. or training & at least 3 years experience as an office administrator; A courteous, supportive, non-judgmental telephone manner; Strong interpersonal skills to deal effectively with people in distress; Proficiency in Office XP including dBase experience.

PLUS: the ability to (a) work independently with minimal supervision as well as being a collaborative team member (b) work well in an environment that requires a high degree of professionalism/confidentiality (c) to produce detailed and accurate administrative work.
