: m6 j0 W2 {/ p: X# i- n% CPosition Abstract: we're looking for a Volunteer & Enterprise Development Coordinator, who has the responsibility to pursue social enterprise opportunities within the mandate of OPTIONS, as well as for all aspects of the Volunteer Program. Your proven experience in Volunteer/Events Management and entrepreneurial endeavours will support the programs at OPTIONS.

Responsibilities: Coordinate a comprehensive Volunteer Management program, including recruitment, program development, appreciation & evaluation; take a lead role in the organization of OPTIONS education, information & fund development events, internally & externally" _$ P% i; A; E

PLUS: take a lead role in the development of social enterprise & retail opportunities within the service mandate of OPTIONS; take a lead role in the marketing initiatives of OPTIONS teaching resources, services and expertise.8 W- \; U n) f8 z& _8 S' j

J( [& P A" _# |9 t8 GQualifications: Post secondary education in Volunteer Management (equivalences considered); event management experience in a non-profit setting; marketing promotion or business experience; demonstrated supervisory or personnel management experience. The successful candidate is supportive of the Vision & Mission of the organization.

2 k/ @ _1 l5 z5 u3 F7 xPLUS: she/he will be creative, entrepreneurial, with a strong time management & organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task projects & relationships at once. A high degree of initiative/motivation while working alone and as part of a team; a strong interpersonal/communications skills written & verbal are assets; knowledge of software packages such as MS Office, dBase programs such as Access & Homes would be beneficial.
