Position: Youth Program Coordinator / Classification: Full time - permanent /9 l8 z4 H1 }8 c6 `8 i8 v
Terms: hours are flexible with some evening & weekends shifts and provincial travel required / Location: Edmonton / Salary: Competitive / Closing Date: August 18, 2008 at 10:00 a.m.

( T5 z/ n% m4 E( S8 G5 [& Q1 sAbstract: working in collaboration with our E.D. & volunteers, the Program Coordinator will develop/implement various programs including, but not limited to, school/community presentations & special events. The ideal candidate should enjoy working with youth, be extremely self-motivated, outgoing and energetic, and have strong planning, public speaking and communication skills. - s2 X" m) k( L
$ ~+ w g' ^6 a1 U+ k# ?2 RExperience & Assets: Grade 12 diploma with a minimum of (3) years related work & volunteer experience; administrative experience; knowledge & experience in the non-profit sector.

Essencial Skills: strong oral, written communication & organizational skills + the ability to plan, coordinate and implement events and program details; exemplary attention to detail & organizational matters; excellent time management skills and an ability to set goals and priorities; ability to work with a broad range of clients and stakeholders; proficient knowledge of MS Office and an ability to learn other computer programs.
