: [0 ?+ H, E/ z    * Develops,coordinates, and facilitates the Institute for Sexual Minority Studies and Services (iSMSS), Camp fYrefly sexual minority youth outreach program$ F) Z1 b# M9 q) v4 [5 A
    * Coordinates Camp fYrefly's year-round educational programming, peer leadership training,and youth mentoring activities$ ?8 Y: r- X" t
    * Coordinates, develops and oversees the camp application, recruitment, and selection processes
& L* m) u3 N, }3 f2 ~0 Z    * Recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers who support the delivery of Camp fYrefly's annual summer youth leadership retreat
3 ]: y* @$ N! `    * Develops and solicits appropriate workshop and educational programming in consultation with a youth advisory committee and community stakeholders) C% I' c2 f2 @! t" o0 }
    * Liaises with the Assistant Director to set appropriate work priorities, action plans,and volunteer and program resource requirements
8 b$ g& l  Y4 W0 ^1 ^. s6 b    * Works with the Assistant Director to plan, deliver and evaluate fundraising activities and donor recognition programs. k3 f9 l" A8 D; }0 k' V
    * Provides a year-end activities report and program evaluation to the Assistant Director5 c6 f7 U( I) p: x8 {( o4 v. D
    * Serves as a resource person and liaises with the Assistant Director in budget planning

    * Develops and maintains relationships with local and national press and other relevant media' N8 c0 f- Z0 `
    * Creates and delivers community-based presentations on camp-related research and evaluation results* m3 l+ W' d. e' A- P5 R# U
    * Provides support and advice on emerging LGBTTQ youth needs and trends to Institute personnel and partner agencies+ Y, S% m3 `& N* r

Qualifications# E  @' e* Z7 t% o" {# @

- J+ e" F& Q+ `( r4 m! H1 @: T    * Post Secondary diploma in a related discipline such as education, human services, community development or social sciences; Bachelor's degree in education, social work, psychology, or a related professional discipline preferred& g% C! E! g7 F, T2 H
    * Three to five years background experience in youth programming and/or community development with a particular emphasis on sexual minority youth
! S8 Y+ p0 m; o6 Q; F    * Experience working with Aboriginal and ethnocultural communities an asset* d2 f* J4 O- ^" C, z3 L4 W) b$ w( I
    * Knowledge of violence and bullying prevention, harm reduction, and youth advocacy strategies3 H) x" \" j+ p, G' Y
    * Demonstrated experience in the development of youth educational programming, community outreach, and conflict resolution skills
# W1 }) x' ?8 n0 ]    * Knowledge and experience in fund development, volunteer management, proposal writing, and special event planning
  q2 Y( f4 e/ c- Z/ k    * Demonstrated skills in program/donor communication, development of information, education and communication material (including web-based documentation)
