The Heavy Oil and Oil Sands business unit seeks a Junior Technologist to be part of their experimental research team./ _. E7 J$ x A- U9 f) ~
- A1 {9 ^- r9 eThis qualified engineering technologist will participate in the design, set-up, and maintenance of laboratory tasks related to the Heavy Oil and Oil Sands program carried out with the National Centre for Upgrading Technology (NCUT) located at our Devon facility. Duties include laboratory sample preparation and analysis; experimental design and setup; instrumentation; and data acquisition and analysis.

Candidates require a Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering Technology or equivalent. Demonstrated laboratory skills, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and experience with Microsoft Office are required. Occasional lifting of heavy samples is required; training in First Aid and WHMIS would be a definite asset. : t$ j+ m# c- ]+ h: Y
