The Fuels and Lubricants group delivers a full range of services for petroleum products. We perform petroleum analyses to Canadian (CGSB), American (ASTM), and international (ISO) specifications, and provide consultation and problem solving support on a range of issues, from specific problems to comprehensive systems. 3 `. We require a senior chemical technologist to perform and be the resident expert on crude distillations and upstream petroleum analyses (i.e. bitumen, crude oil). The successful candidate will specialize in solving technical issues using complex experimental apparatus. Duties include liaising with clients to solve problems; providing technical expertise to internal and external clients; calibrate and maintain state of the art analytical instruments and equipment; and communicating experimental results to clients. + v9 W7 P2 C& y* J+ uCandidates should have a diploma in Chemical Technology and a minimum of ten years experience working with clients in a complex chemical laboratory environment. Computer knowledge and a mechanical aptitude are essential. Knowledge of quality assurance and statistical procedures are an asset. You must have strong communication skills, a high degree of physical capability, and be able to work effectively in a team environment.# |+ C% \! _1 ^9 c9 J
