3 u$ j7 [9 D/ w* RAs a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications.
1 c# F' k, W: t# b: |6 K0 ]* k+ nAs part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:, A" K5 d6 T! f5 n
Convert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off.
( `+ ]- @( I- D( S5 Z+ ICreate process and data models to visually represent requirements information.
" F- l2 i+ V: |" v `Perform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing.
% v$ W0 _9 w4 LAssist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase. " M* {3 u/ G ?9 ^$ @+ L
Support, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production. ; v) I& S7 D: b( {6 w
Analyze current technical and business objectives, plans, processes, information flows, and systems.
o% B! k% c# d8 b2 MAssist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications.
/ D) ~( ?( q6 OSummarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement. H, r, W7 ^8 J
Responsible for working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverables. ' M, g" r! r9 w% D' f! {% c3 g
Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset
" O* L4 P# l R% p• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
9 a0 g3 {* q, `( J0 P5 _- W$ {2 e• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset.
0 L% I& B" J; O4 ^$ a8 ?7 l8 t4 b• Understanding of Object Oriented design principles and the .Net Framework.
8 N2 J8 R' \% V$ l/ `' i1 ?* g• Exceptional consultation skills are critical, with the ability to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment.
